Patient Participation Group

It is important for us to know that the service we provide is appropriate, acceptable and accessible. We have set up a virtual patient representation group the function of which would be to obtain opinion from a broad spectrum of our patients (age, gender, ethnicity etc.) via emailed surveys to members of the Group.

The Group is responsible for prioritising issues such as opening times or the quality of care or services provided by the Practice and then asked to complete brief online surveys via the website. The Group has the opportunity to discuss and comment on the survey findings, agree with the Practice any reasonable changes in the provision and delivery of services and agree an action plan setting out priorities and proposals. The resultant Local Patient Participation Report will be publicised on the Practice website together with updates on achievement.

Minutes of PPG Meeting 9 November 2017

NAPP Membership

The Practice PPG is a member of the Mational Association for Patient Participation. 

NAPP support the establishment and maintenance of patient participation groups by sharing good practice and providing support and advice and to patients, practices, health and care professionals to improve healthcare services, to involve those who are difficult to reach and to ensure that patients are at the centre of all healthcare decisions.
